SHOPPING FOR A CAUSE
Kicking off the celebration, Shop for a cause at Tejido Collective in Carmel-By-The-Sea
Tejido Collective is donating 10% of their sales proceeds (both online and in-store) to our chapter over the Earth Day weekend from April 19-22.
Tejido Collective is a luxury ethical knitwear shop in Carmel-by-the-Sea featuring one-of-a-kind art pieces, sustainable Peruvian alpaca apparel, small-batch apothecary and wellness products,
artisanal jewelry, and more. TEJIDO (teh.hee.doe), meaning fabric in Spanish, creates designs that respect the interwoven relationship between our heritage, community, and the planet.

"PLOGGING" EVENT WITH FLEET FEET MONTEREY

Finally, we conclude this Earth Day with a "Plogging" Pub Run with Surfrider & Fleet Feet on Monday night at Fieldwork Brewing.
What is Plogging? It's jogging while picking up litter! We will run around downtown Monterey and on the Monterey Rec Trail while picking up trash. There will be a prize for those who collect the most trash. Join the fun with the local Monterey community!
APRIL BEACH CLEANUP ON 4/27 + MORNING BEACH YOGA
Can't make it to any of our Earth Day weekend events? Save the date for our next beach cleanup (monthly on 4th Satrudays at 10AM at rotating beaches. Our next cleanup is at 10AM at McAbee Beach on Cannery Row. Our Surfrider table will be located by the El Toritio Parking Lot.
Do you want to join us for beach yoga beforehand? We'll offer a free beach yoga rise + flow session at McAbee Beach at 9AM right before our cleanup. All levels of yoga experience are welcome and remember to bring a towel.

BINGO BLUE BEERS MIXER ON 4/27 AT THE OTTER'S DEN IN MARINA 5-7PM

After spending your Saturday morning with us at our yoga session and beach clean up on Cannery Row, treat yourself to a night out at our next Blue Beers Bingo Night at the Otter's Den in Marina on 4/27! It'll be held at the Otter's Den in Marina and costs $5 to play (all of the Bingo card proceeds will benefit our chapter!! Thank you, Otter's Den!). The venue is 21+.
