Located in Pacific Grove, California, Pavel’s Backerei is a European style bakery that was founded in 1997. All l their products are made fresh by hand daily by the owner’s, Paul and Johanna. The establishment specializes in fine pastries and breads, but also makes an effort to conserve their community. What separates this bakery from the others is their astronomical menu. With chocolate chunk cookies and glazed donuts bigger than your head, this bakery sure sets themselves apart from the rest. Being ocean friendly certified is important because, restaurants are one of the main contributors to plastic pollution which is harmful to the ocean because it feeds into the gyres and also damages the OZONE layer which is our only limited protection we have for the protection against global warming.
