We are excited to partner with Save our Shores for Coastal Cleanup Day 2025! Surfrider Monterey is pleased to offer the following at our Municipal Beach cleanup located on the south end of Monterey State Beach across from London Bridge Pub (next to Wharf 2). 

• Free Beach Yoga at 9AM (all levels welcome; bring a towel)
• Beach Cleanup from 10AM - 12PM (click below to register in advance)
• UNDERWATER DIVE CLEANUP (new!) with Monterey Expeditions -- Also at 10AM, but come early for check-in or join beach yoga. Scroll down for more details. 
• Breakfast graciously sponsored by Islands Restaurant!

Underwater Dive Cleanup Details
Hosted by Monterey Expeditions

We welcome certified SCUBA and freedivers, as well as snorkelers and shore support. This is not a guided dive, so all divers should be comfortable diving unguided in Monterey cold water with a buddy. If you do not have a buddy, we will find you one for the event.

Please bring personal dive gear, a cutting device and a mesh bag for trash collection. You'll also need to know your certification level, certification number, and agency.
