Surfrider, Save our Shores, and other activists around the Monterey Bay are looking for volunteers to monitor the activities at the Cemex Sand Mine in Marina. A pleasant two-hour stroll on the beach might turn into just the information we need to protect southern Monterey Bay from the worst coastal erosion in California.
